Building

• Building a privacy-first iOS app as a personal project, with a 100% on-device AI companion (the model runs on the phone). Still in development.
• Evolving this site into ShaafOS — a portfolio that behaves like a living system, with its own in-browser AI assistant (no third-party LLM).
• Small experiments putting AI into actual product code, not slideware.

Learning

• Going deeper on production-grade system design — observability, durable rate-limiting, and edge functions.
• Sharpening my retrieval / information-retrieval fundamentals (the engine behind ShaafAI).
• Reading about how large systems stay simple as they grow.

Interested in
